Privacy & Cookies

Not Your Slavic Doll respects your privacy. We only collect data that helps us serve you better and never sell your information.

What we collect

  • Email address when you subscribe, contact us, or apply.
  • Account information when you sign up or log in.
  • Academy assessment answers and the resulting readiness scores so we can personalise your learning path.
  • Chat messages when you use NYSD AI (see below).
  • First-party analytics (page views, referrer, and campaign tags such as utm_source so we know which ad or post brought you here). Device type, coarse location, and a session ID are attached only if you accept analytics cookies.

NYSD AI

NYSD AI is an artificial-intelligence assistant. When you chat with it:

  • Your messages are sent to Moonshot (Kimi K2.5) to generate replies.
  • We do not use your chats to train or fine-tune AI models.
  • If you are not signed in, your conversation stays in your browser (local storage) and is not stored on our servers.
  • If you are signed in, your conversation history is stored so NYSD AI can remember context across sessions. It is kept until you delete your account.
  • NYSD AI is not a replacement for professional advice. Read the full AI policy.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session state. With your consent, we also use first-party analytics cookies, Google Analytics 4, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to understand journeys, campaign performance, and conversions. Google Analytics and Meta may process device, browser, approximate location, and interaction data. You can decline analytics cookies when the banner appears.

Affiliate links

Some pages, including Glow Up Picks, contain affiliate links, including links to Amazon.co.uk. If you buy through those links, Not Your Slavic Doll may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Not Your Slavic Doll is a participant in the Amazon Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.co.uk. When you follow an Amazon link, Amazon may use cookies to record that the visit came from this site. Amazon's own privacy notice applies to what Amazon does with that information.

Email

We use Resend to deliver account, assessment, contact, and purchase emails. Newsletter subscribers may also receive NYSD education and product updates. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time; essential service messages may still be sent when needed.
